Accepted donation examples
We gladly accept clean, gently loved clothing, furniture, home décor, kitchenware, books, toys, collectibles, artwork, small electronics, and many other household items in good working condition. We ask donors to consider one simple question:
"Would I be excited to find this at Ruby Thrift?"
Why are some donations not accepted?
Our goal is to give every accepted item the best opportunity to find another home.
Items that are broken, unsafe, heavily damaged, or unsanitary often cost more to dispose of than they can ever provide in value, taking resources away from serving our community.
